I had a photo shoot yesterday at Big Swede Photography with Beau Gustafson. Beau is so talented and he captured some great images and managed to make an old man with Covid hair issues still look presentable. The photos will be used for the book jacket and promotional materials in the launch of BOMBINGHAM: Day of Reckoning.
All the materials are complete and in the hands of the designers to put it all together. Once the book jacket and cover design is complete, we will be finished and ready for the printer. Our scheduled release date is June 1, 2021 and we are hoping and praying that things will be such that we can do some in-person events to promote the book in the summer and autumn. Keep your fingers crossed! It seems trite to be thinking of book signing events when so many lives are, and have been, lost and many more disrupted by this pandemic. Case numbers are rising in almost every area of the world but my prayer is that folks will eventually heed the advice of the experts and not congregate during the holidays, wear a mask anytime outside and continue safe practices. It seems that vaccines are imminent and that will certainly help but we need to do all we can to stop the spread in the meantime.
