I have been a storyteller since early childhood. I grew up in the Grasselli Heights community in western Birmingham, Alabama and there were few kids in the neighborhood. I developed a keen imagination and learned early on to create a fantasy world to keep myself entertained. Whether it was sports, playing army or cowboys in my backyard on Jefferson Avenue, there was never a dull moment.
